ok so I’ve been slacking big time with my blog lately and I’ve decided to recap everything in the form of a journal entry i suppose.

Winter break has been pretty fun so far.. I started it off with a lot of last minute Christmas shopping. I hate it, but I love it. I love all the decorations everywhere, listening to the Christmas music, buying people presents, and just enjoying that specific time of year. So as usual, Christmas came and went. I loved every minute of it. Had the traditional Italian fish dinner on Christmas Eve at my Uncle’s and then had another huge meal at my house on Christmas Day with everyone. My family can get pretty annoying and loud sometimes, but I really do love spending time with everyone.

I’ve got to say that I did get some pretty awesome gifts this year. I got a buttload of sweaters and some new accessories/purses/scarves..we all know how much I love those ;-).. probably too much! I also got a Kindle!! so so pumped; it’s pretty much an English major’s dream come true. Besides all of that, I got a bunch of other random things :) Yeah, I know I’m spoiled.
After Christmas I went to visit Cody’s family up in Rochester with him. It was a lot of fun but it was freakin cold! It was nice to spend time with his family and get to know them all better. We went to a Children’s Play Museum one day and believe it or not, it was actually pretty fun. It was a little awkward at first seeing as how we were the only people there over the age of 8 (other than parents) but we definitely made the best of it. A lot of other things happened while we were there but overall it was definitely a good time.

I’m just sad that Christmas time is over :( time to start the countdown til next years!
